You don't have to put the full ?500,000 up, just the amount you wish to invest. You have to remember this studio will be shooting in the UK, Europe and the US and distributing to the global market.

The amount any individual invests is irrelevent, their proportionate gain depends on how many multiples of 5.5Million you make the company worth.

I agree with you there Paul. The company is valued at this price due to the Directors they will have working for them and distribution network in place.

You can't really take Private as a case of the current market as they have been in trouble for a few years with $10 Million been borrowed shall we say, and that they have just been re cutting old content to make new titles most of the time.

The great think about Crowdcube is that you could invest a small amount to be part of it. Of course the more you invest the higher the percentage of the shares you will hold. But if you put ?100 in, you could still make a gain on this amount.

GTF if you are not interested that is fine. Orchid plan to shoot and release 35 titles in the first year. These productions will not be ?5K or so productions and will be sold across multi media platforms on a global basis.

As I mentioned in my post above, Private is currently under legal review due to loans made and running practice. The amount they bring in is still not bad, but it also paid out large amounts over the last few years on new technology developments, not all of them that worked.

The company has to pay a percentage fee to Crowdcube and yes the company will retain 91% which it will use to raise extra funds in the future if required.
