I think the 4th box is the best one to use, gets the actual picture on here, 2nd box is just a thumbnail.

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
Thanks for that heads up Nikonman.
And thanks to Mybeautifultease for the facility.
How do you revisit the image page. I mean the page showing the codes?
I posted an image in a different thread, now when I revisit it, I can't see the codes.

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
Not sure that you can. You probably only get the one chance, when you first upload it.

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
I find that the easy way to use this new hosting is.
1, Resize your picture to what you want.
2, Click on Browse to transfer picture to the site
3, Click Upload
4 Click BBCode (Forums) no.4 then Copy & Paste
Here is another example.
It's a old picture.

As Sharkmad said, I don't think you can either.
However, depending on which Internet Browser you are using, you can still "recover" the code.
I use Firefox and right clicking over the image you want the code for brings up a sub menu, select "Copy Image Location" and then you can paste it back into another post.
Like this.....
[img]http://mybeautifultease.com/imagehost/i ... 031413.jpg[/img]
But you must remember to put the [ img] and [ /img] tags at the beggining and end of the image address (without any spaces of course).
Hope this is of assistance?

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
Perhaps i should have provided a brief intro to the hosting solution.
Uploading your image,
Click the browse button, choose your file, only one at a time currently.
When you are ready click upload.
Shortening your links,
If you wish to create shortened links to your upload you will need to click preferences before uploading and select the tick box to use an url shortener service.
Resizing your image,
[img]http://mybeautifultease.com/imagehost/i ... izebox.jpg[/img]
To resize an image on the fly you need specify this before uploading your file. Choose the browse button, select your file and click resize. Enter your desired width, no need for height as all images will be kept in proportion. Then click upload.
The upload process will begin.
Once uploaded you have a number of different ways to use the image.
Sharing/Using your image,
[img]http://mybeautifultease.com/imagehost/i ... adedli.jpg[/img]
In thumbnail plus viewer link section,
The first field provides you with HTML code to post a small thumbnail with a link to a web page that displays the larger version of the image. Useful if you want to post large images but fit within the structure of a forum post and not distort the layout of the thread. This method will only work if used someplace that allows posting of HTML, I don't think BGAFD does.
The second box provides code in BB Forum format, this will work with BGAFD, the result will be the same as the above HTML method. A thumbnail will be displayed in post with the larger file linked to off site.
In the show directly this image section,
The first field is simply a link to the webpage that shows your image in an external web page, similar to the likes of Image Venue. There is no coding included so if links are not automatically converted to hyperlinks on the forums you are posting to, they will not be clickable.
The viewer page looks like this;
[img]http://mybeautifultease.com/imagehost/i ... erlink.jpg[/img]
The Second field provides the BB Code to post here at BGAFD, this will post the image directly into the post. If your image is large this may affect the quality of the post, so bear that in mind when inserting images. If you resized your image at upload, the image will be displayed at your chosen width and proportional height.
The last field, URL, displays the actual URL to the image. Rather than the image displayed in a web page.
Finally you can easily share the image and post to numerous social networks by using the share buttons in the last section of the post-upload page.
The method I used to include images in this post was the BB Code provided in the 4th field on the post-upload page.

Hope this helps clear up some confusion as to how the hosting service works.

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
Thanks for that very useful information myson.
I have hit on another way. When you have successfully uploaded, click on the Firefox menu\print and print to Microsoft XPS document writer, then after saving you have all the codes saved ready to copy any time.

Re: Trying New Image Hosting
You can also bookmark the image page that you get after your file as uploaded if you want future access to the generated codes.
