Some advice RE pay sites

Hi all

I'm really looking for some advice regarding pay sites.I am currently looking for some investment oppurtunities.i was having a conversation with a web designer who was telling me that the pay adult sites do very well.i told him that i found this hard to believe as basically nowadays you can get everything you need to view for free.But maybe i'm wrong i guess the pay UK sites such as killergram and jimslip don't do it just for fun(although maybe jim does)so basically i'm looking to find out if there really is any profit in a pay adult site.

If i did venture into this i would be looking to make a decent size investment.As if i did it,i'd want to do it well.I have a few theme ideas for a site where i think there maybe a gap in the market.As i have a number of other business interests,i would also be looking for somebody to run the site for me.As in co-ordinate shots,contact models,make up,basically run the show.I feel this may suit an ex model well who has alot of contacts.Obviously this is all dependant on me feeling there is enough profit in the venture to go ahead.If i were to go ahead the person i have spoken of would a salaried job.

Its a lot of hard work... I been doing it for 11 years, and it's more for the enjoyment of my job than being rich off it...

There is still money in porn... of course. But someone as a new start up today, you better have a pretty big well of money to throw at it...

If you truly beleive you have an idea that will fill the gap then do it. You will stanfd a better chance for it.

Youd increase your chances a lot more if you found new talent for it but if its established talent doig something different then that should be in with a good chance.

I personally wouldnt offer any guarantees in these uncertain times

Maximise your profits by using every possible outlet to sell your material & you should make a profit as long as you don't spend crazy lol!, instead set a steady pace on film/web costs as the returns take months & to many crash before they get anywhere.

Really sorry i have not got back to anybody,had a very manic week,also doing some more research as i'm such a novice in this industry,would like to be as well informed as i can be when i speak to people.will do my best to reply next week.Could i also say as well,that the theme idea i have for a site would involve a host,who would not really be involved in any of the adult action. so if anybody would be interested in a role like this please get in touch as well on email below.Hopefully if i do get this off the ground this person would be per say "The face of the site".I would be looking for sure to put regular weekly content on the site,so this host person would have quite regular work.I'm really trying to think of a way to describe this roll ,the best i can do is like a chat show host,with sexy antics going on around them,but them not actually being directly involved.
