Firstly I am not here for freebies or payment in kind (I appreciate anybody can say this, however I have clients in the adult industry who will happily vouch for me). Some forums do not like ?outsiders?, so please be gentle with me.

I am a professional, discreet and regulated accountant. I am holder of a practising certificate from one of the UK chartered accountancy bodies therefore I have to comply with their stringent rules and regulations.

This means I manage my business affairs properly, issue formal engagement letters and the such like.

I have a large client base of both adult industry and non adult industry clients. I started dealing with the adult side as a friend of a friend was in the industry and got in trouble with HMRC. She was not happy approaching a high street accountant and got put in touch with me?.the rest is history.

I don?t do bullshit and you get good sensible honest advice and help.

I know for a fact that there are many people in this industry who have not registered and gone legit with the taxman? that is their own free choice. I will never judge a person as everyone has their own reasons for doing things.

It is also widely known (and there are numerous postings on various forums etc) that HMRC is on a mission to get back as much unpaid tax as possible.

If you have a profile on a website, if you have your own website, if you promote yourself via any of the social media ? your chances of being found and looked at by HMRC increase. If you are registered as self employed and you know how to play the game then this is not a problem. If you are not registered then is it worth running the risk?

Just to reiterate ? Everything I say can be confirmed by existing clients in this industry. I am more than happy to provide solid references as needed.
