I cannot agree with you regards the publicity thing but with hindsight (a wonderful thing) the email triggered off a chain of events, panic, confusion and speculation. I know Paul was asked to do the email but why send an email about an unconfirmed and not verified failed test which was pending certain confirmation within 48 hours?

I think in future any announcement being made to the industry that would cause concern should be one of definite fact rather than unconfirmed.

Did the clinic make a mistake?
Or was it a false positive?

Hi,

1) I was the person the performer reached out to. You know that question they always ask at the clinic, "is there someone you could turn to?", well in this case it was me who got turned to.

I think your conduct and the conduct of the performer has been exemplary.

She must have gone through hell waiting for the second result to come through. I am so glad for her now that the cloud has been lifted.

AITA also seem to have acted perfectly correctly.

I'm very happy for her, but what about her future prospects? Is she going to be indirectly/subtly blacklisted because of this, just because people may be suspicious/paranoid?

I do hope not. She is not just completely innocent, she is a victim of unfortunate circumstances. She is no more at fault of anything than any other model/performer who has requested certification.

The false result should not reflect any suspicion on the model who received it, and she should be given full credit for thinking of others and taking the appropriate action at what must have been a most distressing time.

She is the victim in this - why should she be blacklisted,

Everyone knows how careful i am but i want to make it clear that when she is ready to come back to work i will be happy to work with her,

she's suffered enough, lets help her move on with her life and not be a victim any longer.

Well said Tanya..

Although I only do solo work photography, I too would be happy to work with her when or if she wishes to return to modelling.

May I wish her well.

I think that Paul and the model were 100% correct in in their decision to go public.

I think the model was very brave to do so as has been mentioned before.

I wish the model all of the luck in what ever she chooses to go in the future.

I do not know who the model is but this would not stop me shooting her. I don't shoot anything hard but like Nikon Man I would have no issues shooting her.

We all know why she could/would be - paranoia. Yes, she is the victim, but a lot of people in this world act on emotion. See, you already have one saying something about 'fishy'. There is a lot more where that came from.
