Locked out of Adultwork profile

Hey guys and girls,

Not sure if this is the right forum to post my issue within but I wanted to get some feedback from others that this may has happened to.

I opened an account with Adultwork only weeks ago and am already essentially locked out.

Whilst logged in last I tried to change my password, an error occurred and I subsequently logged out so I could try again in the morning. Upon trying to log back in yesterday morning I was told my email account had to be verified by them sending a code to my email address before I could log in. So I clicked the link for the codes and then checked my previously registered email account and no code had arrived. I then thought maybe the address I had tried to register on the account may have been saved before I had logged out, upon checking no verification code had been sent there either. Next I followed the next link on AW telling me to change my email address instead if I hadn't received the codes and found that neither the email address that was originally registered or the address I had attempted to register were recognised by AW at all.

I have emailed them through a couple of links from the FAQ's but keep getting automated messages back telling me to follow the same routes from the login page. I have also emailed the administrator on the AW forum but don't seem to be getting any reply back now.

Has anybody experienced any similar issues with AW login and how did they manage to get the help necessary to gain access to their account again?

Hello Jamie. I've solved a few AW problems in my time, but I think I'd open a new account if I were you, particularly since its only a few weeks old. Your query has probably gone on the "too hard" pile.

Yes I have about 800 credits in there so that is not an option at this stage lol.

I just keep getting the same email telling me to reset my details via the same 2 routes that do not work. Frustrating isn't the word!

Know of any telephone numbers or other contact details for them? If I cannot access my account to get my credits i'll have to seek legal advice and act against them.

I see what you mean. Sounds like something has possibly corrupted in their system if you got an error when trying to change the password.

I would carry on trying their final option email on the FAQ popup and stamp your little feet a bit. Despite what some people say, I have usually found them to be quite reasonable.

I have emailed them several times through every route and have found them the most unhelpful people I have ever dealt with on a business level.

All responses seem to contain the same advice which is to reset my details via the login page, which of course is utterly useless to me.

Am trying to email the website host which will undoubtedly be a fruitless attempt also.

This has definitely shown the site in a whole new light to me...

They've been on here before now also answering adverse criticism.

Try http://www.adultwork.com/Help.asp as there is quite a few options on there.

I take back everything I said lol

I sent numerous emails via the help centre stating they kept sending unhelpful replies back to me and I finally got an answer from a human being!!

So am back online and everything is right with the world again

Glad you are ok now, they are fair if you stick to the guidelines given etc but some push the barriers sometimes.
