Another very pretty model has gone under the knife. God, the butchers that do this make me angry. This time the victim is Marie Bramley. Already this year we have lost Vicky Powell and Jasmine Sinclair to the silicone plague. Please may there be no more.

And also recently, worst of all, Roxanne Hall. Near perfection totally ruined. Why, why, why do they do it?

If more of those avaricious butchers masquerading as cosmetic surgeons refused the procedure on the grounds of it being unnecessary.......
I've said here before that any such 'doctor' who goes into private practice and does these pointless operations when he/she could be saving/improving lives in a hospital, ought to be made to refund in full the cost (borne by you and me !!) of their training.

Because it's their bodies, and if they feel more confident silicon enhanced then what the hell.
I'm neither pro or anti boob jobs, but I have witnessed girls who have radically changed into 100% more confident young ladies post op.
Their are good boob jobs and bad ones, I think Layla, Tess Scott & most recently Rachel Travers have really good ones, I,m sure that nobody held a gun to their heads to make them do it, and more importantly they themselves are pleased with the results, which is the main importance.

So where do we draw the line ?? No make-up, No false nails, No hairstyling these are all enhancements to a lesser degree.

Live and let be, and don't worry about these girls I'm sure they are perfectly happy, wether you like it or not.

Cheers CC.

Are you seriously suggesting that this far along such a hugely succesful porn career Roxanne Hall needed a boob-job to boost her confidence?

As I've said here before, I have to agree that Layla's op is probably as good as you'll ever see, although I still prefer her as nature intended.

I didn't even know that Rachel had been done, so assuming that I've seen post-op pics, that must mean its OK, cos I think she's a little cracker!

The trouble is that unless they can afford the best and/or get really good advice they risk a less-than-perfect result that, far from being an improvement, looks all wrong.

I agree, there are good, sensitively-done ones- and then there are those diabolical jobs that make the 'victim' look like a freak. Equally, there is a spectrum of rationales for having it done, from the well-balanced to the positively loopy.
I have no problem with people doing whatsoever they like with their bodies, as long as the advice they get is not tainted by the self-interest of the advisors. Personally, I'd rather a natural B-cup than an artificial D-cup, but that's just life's rich Bayeux.
I have argued before that the attempt to instil or enhance self-confidence by surgery seems, at least to me, a little bizarre (unless perhaps if it's neurosurgery !)- by analogy, most blokes feel more confident after a skinful, which is hardly a recommendation for alcoholism...........having seen Jordan tonight on the box (post op No.3, is it now?) I have to say that whatever it's done for her 'self-confidence' (for which read manic self-promotion and crass, unjustifiable egotism), she seems still to be haunted by a whole host of demons- one very unhappy girl, despite now being much nearer the end of the alphabet.

I do think that such a life-changing decision needs more thought than some girls appear to give it......I'd be very interested in about 20 years' time, when the first batch of enhanced girls start drawing their pensions (assuming there still is one, then....), to hear their thoughts on how the implants are bearing up (ahem). A common complaint from naturally bustier girls is the backache they suffer, for example, and I'm willing to bet that no studies have been done on the potential long-term effects of implants either per se (degradation of the physical substance, or long-term leakage) , or on the rest of the body (load-bearing stress has to go somewhere...........).
