Wel, aren't we delving into the deep waters today? First a thread on jazz, now a thread on animals. All I hav to say is that if anyone is as dull as me and has read the SFC's response to the Liberal Democrat's draft resolution on reforming sex and pornography law's it is interesting to note that no agreement could be reached on whether engaging in sexual activity with animals should necessarily be illegal / immoral. My own opinion, which is certainly not polished and definite, is that though it's not something that in any way appeals to my taste, for an adult to allow themselves to be sexually available to an animal, there is no issue of consent involved because quite clearly the animal wishes to engage in this and the adult also does. The other way around, and consent is a major issue because there's no way of knowing for sure if this animal wishes to engage in such behaviour. Or maybe there is but I dont' know it.
