First off Kevin Maklin has stopped calling himself One Eyed Jack for over two years already, the key word here is he is a photographer, who lives and works in Czech Republic, so that was pretty low to include him in this topic John, he doesn't and as far as to my knowledge has never shot video.

Secondly John, you never called yourself One Eyed Pirate. This was a name we came out with when I suggested for the credit sequence of Wife Watchers to suggest the series was a One Eyed Jack/ John Mason Studios Production when I was editing the shows. Otherwise there would be no reason for you to come up with that name as you are not involved with the post production process- ever.

Your words John, not mine. I stated to you whether your material was succesful or not, I don't want to be left answerable for product that was neither shot nor funded or had anything to do with me.

Patronising comment but not every punter knows about me or John Mason, and some people out there, maybe lots don't know who One Eyed Jack is. I'm protecting my interests with those first timers who are not connoiseurs of porn.

John is on far too much product as it is, mine, Liquid Gold and whatever lines of his own and Wife Wtachers. My point is, if anyone gets tired of seeing John shagging girls, it could have a knock on effect with other products coming out through the same distributor.

John is not known for shooting video, so why did he choose the name One Eyed Pirate?

I would be so bold to say that John calculatedly used the name to align himself with One Eyed Jack as a brand name to help aid his sales. Very smart John but in the process, you have pissed me off and come on this forum looking innocent as if to suggest I have a bee in my bonnet about nothing.

I say calculated because he did not even consult me before he made the decision to use a derivative very close to my branded name, even going so far as to open accounts in the One Eyed Pirate name.

As for those who don't think this affects anything, Most of you who frequent this forum know of me, I feel it affects those who don't know me or my style or my affiliation with John. I placed my official notice to deter the questions I was starting to receive in connection with Johns line. Anyone know what its like to repeat the same line over and over? Thats why I posted my points on here.

Just because I do not co-produce material with John does not give him the right to suggest I am by using this new name. Its false and its misleading. John doesn't see the point because John doesn't care. Whats wrong with Johnny Rebel Productions? You've got Johnny Rebel.Com? So why emblazon One Eyed Pirate across the main titles of your other lines John?

The worse part of this is I did not know until Joe King raised this point in a thread last week about Rear Enders, thinking it was a One Eyed Jack Production. You don't like my attitude John, that's fine, but I am damn disappointed you did this behind my back and expected me to be alright about it.

Kev Walker and Kev Maklin are two different people. Maklin has never been known as One Eyed Jack!
By the tone of your post, it seems you have a problem with me and the fact that I'm now shooting video on my own.
I feel very disappointed with you and your whole attitude, considering all I've done in the past to help you.

John, I have absolutely no problem with you shooting your own videos. My only gripe is what we have discussed pure and simple: One Eyed Pirate is not your name to use.

For the amount of post production I have to do and the work put into my website, you know deep down that I have no time to be going up and down the country shooting the way we used to. Lets stick to specifics. Is this the only way you can defend your actions by going off on a totally different tangent.

My apologies about the Kev maklin thing. I never knew him or this Kevin Walker, but my point is simply you and me and that One Eyed Pirate thing. Put simply, it's not on. Other personal differences, professional gripes aside are not the issue. I have no other motivation here but to clarify what I have made in my initial post with regards to this matter.

Really John? Think of this; everytime you have helped me was only to benefit yourself, meaning every favour you have done me, you got more out of. Give me one example where you did me a favour as a pure favour to advance myself in this business? Interviews? You sold to make money. Contacts? We always worked as a team. Like I said John, you can't sell these tickets this time.

Last word...Johns name "O.E.P" is the sort of variation on a name which is pretty like the trick some spermarket chains use when packaging their own goods to resemble say...." a well known brand of soft drink".
Its definatley taking advantage no matter what is said anad Terry is quite right to feel agrieved.
I don't know the back ground to their not working together any more .....that is between them.....but the use of the name variation is a bit of a rip off.
