One Eyed Jack is by no means an exclusive name, you must have missed my point which was simply John and I are in the same game, have worked closely for the past 4 years. Just because I am not co-producing with him does not mean that John should continue to use the same name to mislead people into thinking we are. Worse still, he went ahead with it without even consulting me

This would have never become an issue until it was brought to my attention from an outside source other than John himself. I took offence on this and other reasons stated on here already.

As for coming off my high horse- what high horse? My reasons were more practical than egotistical.

Why the fuck can you not think of a name for your own outfit which punters cannot confuse with OEJ? Either you have no imagination, or you are trading on his good (?) name - that's illegal - he could sue.

Just call yourself John Mason Productions (unless you think this will put off buyers), or any other ORIGINAL name. And not Video Xtra Pirate, please. Like OEJ, I don't want my good name compromised by another producer cashing in on my tade name.
