Re: fionia cooper difference between..
The X means nothing. It's just another type of reference number. Apparently, the FC operation are not selling as many tapes as they'd like....I'm sure that if they did 'proper' X rated stuff, they might see sales pick up.

A, D (lesbian), G (''off-the-street'....), V (older stuff, incl. V9xx les)), T (3-hr comps), X ('off-the street', allegedly)

Re: fionia cooper difference between..
X girls seemed to be rougher than the usual A girls.

Except that if you apparently already knew the answer, why did you ask?

The original (mid-80s) FC videos were numbered with a 'V'. Once they got to V999, rather than continue with V1000 etc. they started the 'A' series. The 'Lesbian/Girls Together' were originally part of the main system, but were eventually given their own 'D' (Duos?) category.
The 'X' series were originally referred to as 'The Inbetween Girls'. The FC catalogue used to come out in alternate months, so, a new series of videos was introduced in the 'inbetween' months, which were given an 'X'. I gather this is still the case today, although it's been a few years since I last got any FC catalogues, or bought anything from them.
Incidentally, I've recently acquired a very large private collection of videos (the owner is moving abroad, so has given his vids to me) - including a large number of Fiona Cooper videos.
Looking through them, it's interesting to see that the style has become quite a bit 'harder' over the years. Although some of the very early efforts had the occasional vibrator, or sherry bottle, being used, FC videos used to be quite soft - inserting a finger was about as 'hard' as they got, and some girls didn't even do that! Then the use of a hairbrush or candles came along, followed by various 'toys' - including anal insertion - and sound.
The one thing that hasn't changed, though, is the basic formula - which has now got rather same-y and predictable.

Ah, so you 'inherited' the rest of K's collection.....
