Scaremongering...?

Post by (fyrfyter) John »

Crome, this sort of accusation is unwarranted and inappropriate...

There may be no known cases of HIV infection via the eye - you state that there is one known case... OK... All I know is that I and the rest of my crew were tested, vacinated, re tested, revaccinated 10 yrs ago because we MIGHT have received body fluids in the eye. It was a KNOWN HAZARD 10 yrs ago.... The eye is a well known route for infections of any genre.

To say that this thread is scaremongering is just the type defensive justification one would expect from an orgniser of these parties - I take offence at such an accusation...

All I am asking is that people give a little thought to what they're doing, give some thought to the science of infection, decide whether its a risk they're wiling to take - but to make those decisions armed from an educated point of view - NOT a NAIVE POINT OF VIEW. To suggest that I am frightening "naive models" (as you put it) is grossly offensive and utterly wrong.

I commend you for the proactive steps you have taken for your future parties but I still find your attitude worrying and offensive.

A bit of imagination

Post by fevrd »

You know you could have a fetish bukkake with the model trussed up and blindfolded. She wouldn't get anything in her eye then, would she?

Use a bit of imagination - it doesn't have to be bleedin' goggles does it?

Precisely...

I like your style fevrd...

My point reference the goggles was simply an "off the cuff" response to the safety issue... I was simply saying - if you're gonna do it, do it safely...

The point I have tried to make throughout this thread and the thread I contributed to 6 months ago is the fact that the eye is a known route for infection.

Now if you wouldn't allow unprotected penetrative sex, you shouldn't allow a guy to shoot his load on your face and risk infected semen entering the eye... an environment that is ideal for disease to flourish and thrive - warm and wet... If you're comfortable with penetrative sex with the guy - he's got a cert or whatever - go for it - no probs... but if you'd use barriers for the penetration - use a barrier to protect the eye too.

This isn't scaremongering - it's just a case of raising awareness to a known route of infection.

Lets not forget that these bukkake parties are rather recent additions to the scene.

A rather more frightening addition to the scene however is "Creampie Candy" - apparently being promoted by Strand Productions... a girl allowing unprotected penetration! Can you believe that industry girls are also involved in these parties - though obviously, I don't think they'll be going unprotected...

The real problem here? Angel is asking the opinion of her fans, not her doctor or a viral specialist.

Nothing written on this forum should be given any credibility at all, particularly when it comes to medical matters. There are so many people jumping on to this bandwaggon, each one attempting to sound authoratative, but what are your motives?

How many of you (and I don't mean the various directors/producers and organisers who've posted) are just trying to ingratiate yourselves with porn birds or are glowing with pride at the prospect of seeing your thoughts and cogitations on-screen, for your fellow porn fans to look upon and bask in?

And if you rise to the bait on that last line, then you're admitting your guilt.

Angel, if you have any real concerns, go and speak to a specialist.

I'm not jumping on Angel's bandwagon... if you take a look at the link above you will see that I tried to raise the SAME message 6 months ago. Unfortunately, nobody in the industry really took any notice. It has taken somebody of Angel's porn-credentials to actually see this message embraced.

I'm certainly not trying to ingratiate myself with any of the porn stars with this message... Whether you choose to believe that or not is of no relevance to me, but yet again, I have to ask what your motives are for trying to detract from the serious issue that this is.

Am I trying to sound authoritative - not trying... no... I am being authoritative... I know the eye is a route for infection and I know the eye is an ideal environment for disease... I was tested, Hep B vaccinated, tested again and had 2 further vaccinations and a further test 10 years ago because there was a chance I had got an IV drug users blood in my eyes...

What are my motives - well... I may or may not have a vested interest in this matter - but that's not your business and I don't have to justify trying to raise awareness of a serious issue - especially to an anoymous poster on this message board who doesn't even have the deceny to leave a valid email address.

I thought "Cream Pie" is allowing a guy to cum inside the girl & then showing the cum ozzing out (sorry if this is too much information for some) & I thought that this sort of thing was a REAL NO NO in the industry & thats why we have guys cumming over the girls (apart from it been what is known as the money shot but you all know that).

Having read every posting on this subject over the last few days I can see there is a lot of confusion about the subject of HIV still. May be we have all learnt something new here.

In the end it's down to the girls to make up their own minds. It's a pity that Angel feels that she has to give up something that she enjoys cos of the risk to her health & may be her life. The move that the likes of Sandie is taking by laying down the law at her parties not only puts her mind & ease but also the minds of any of the girls taking part in her parties. Well done Sandie.

Is there an answer proberly not, but I'm sure all the girls in the industry are all wise enough to understand the risks involved or the would not do it at all & we would all be the poorer for that.

It's not just HIV...

In actual fact - the real biggie is Hep B (and other variants)...

HIV doesn't live very long once exposed to air... ofcourse, as I have stated, the eye is a prime-time environment, the type of environment that diseases flourish in... but the real nasty is HEP B - that can live happily exposed to air for an age....

A needlestick injury from a HIV infected needle, for example, will probably NOT result in transmitting the infection - unless infected blood was INSIDE the syringe and injected into the recipient... A needlstick injury from a HEP B infected needle would VERY LIKELY result in transmission of the disease 'cos it lives happily on that needle...

So let's not just think in terms of HIV - lets think in terms of ALL STIs - and in fact any genre of infection...

A completely different 'ten pence worth' for you all in this excellent debate.
I'm a married swinger, who runs a website. I do bukkakes..... because they turn me on and directly relate to a recurrent fantasy of mine. I'm also a nurse...... trained in infectious and communicable diseases. My first experience with HIV was on a paedeatric ward, where I witnissed first hand the fear surrounding HIV and AIDS. Since then I've worked in the London Lighthouse, a HIV ward and a major Isolation Unit.
How do I square my bukkake experiences with my Infection Control training? Firstly I take a holistic approach ie I know my body and it's limits, I have to feel healthy, skin intact etc. Secondly I look at the risk I'm taking with my sexual health ie I put the risks into perspective ( i think fyrfyter has got the 'eye risks' out of proportion for spunk!!) and I limit my exposure. I don't do bukkakes twice a week, I do a few when I want to and when I have the oppertunity. Lastly but by no means least!! I look at the kick I'm going to get out of it. Swingers, pornstars and prostitutes may do them for different reasons, but although I sometimes take pics, I always do a bukkake for my own pleasure ;-)
The important thing is to get information so you know your own risks and can make your own judgement, taking responsibility for your own sexual health. People should try and avoid panicking over misleading information or information from inappropriate sources. Get the right info, put it into perspective and have fun ;-)

It is up to you. You choose to work in the porn business, with Bukkake being at the the extreme end of the market. I assume you get paid far more for Bukk than a normal scene? If not you are putting your health at risk for little reward. How old are you? 21/22 at most.

No doubt already mentioned one of the easiset ways for any infection to get into the body is thru the tear duct so getting 15 blokes duffing in your face from close range is bloody dangerous. I must admit to finding Bukk at bit extreme, it is more fetish than main stream and no doubt the girls who choose to perform in such prodcutions actually enjoy it. I imagine the dilemna is similar to sticking a champagne bottle up yourself, it may be sexy but what if the bottle breaks.........

The choice is yours but I fear an HIV exposion which will wipe out the porn industry, especially with so many Eastern European girls arriving on the scene, thier health care services are muchg poorer than the USA/UK/France/Italy etc.
