also, pc pitstop is a good web site for tuneing and finding probs on your machine, cant remember the exact url but a search brings out at the top.

just used the prog at tune-up.com and its quality. Sorted out several longstanding probs including the dreaded "msgsvr32 not responding" that I'd had for months. Can now watch all my real/mp vids again!!!!!

When I said an age I meant more like 'not instant' which is my broadband normal mode.

Was also a reference to the earlier thread on BGAFD pix filesizes etc etc.

Thanks for the advice by the way, is the programme suggested pc specific or will it work on Macs too?
