R18 ROCCO'S SEXUAL SUPERSTARS
When submitted to the BBFC the work had a running time of 139m 27s.
To obtain this category cuts of 11m 8s were required. The cuts were Compulsory.
Cuts were required to remove scenes of potential harm, strong abuse, and violence from an R18 video. R18s can only be sold in licensed sex shops.
Rocco gets cut again!

I'm not surprised
I saw his video with Kelly in Barcelona and he seemed to have gone a bit strange in the head.
Good for the BBFC! (I bet you never thought you read those words on this board!!)

Re: I'm not surprised
No, your right. Rocco's recent stuff is dragging porn through the mud and handing big sticks to our enemies to beat us all with.

Re: Rocco gets cut again!
What a drag to see people advocating censorship, least of all those who are making videos themselves. Not so very long ago it was all the same to the BBFC, i.e. no hardcore whatsoever. How things have changed - at least now they are making the distinction, but I can't say that I welcome any censorship of adult material.
In the past the BBFC were not able to make a distinction between Ben Dover and Rocco Siffredi. It was all the same to them, as it probably still is to many anti-porn folks. I just don't think they have the level of knowledge and discernment that you are talking about. I just don't believe this argument about giving ammunition to the anti brigade at all. They are already against porn anyway. If you don't like Rocco, don't watch it, but don't call for censorship.
Look at it like this - despite the fact that the current trends in porn may seem controversial to many, this is exactly the time that things are actually becoming less strict and more liberal. Porn is winning the argument right now.
By the way, this is not recent Rocco material - it's a compilation, right?
Rocco's videos have included pretty strong stuff for a number of years now.
As long as we are talking about consenting adults, what's the beef? Do you want genuine freedom of speech, genuine artistic freedom or are you still happy for those who supposedly know better to keep on deciding for others?

Funny, that video was pretty much standard Rocco fare, and well worth watching, I hasten to add.

Why was that good for the BBFC? You watched a Rocco video and you're still OK.
I am not surprised someone thinks the more liberal BBFC have done a good job, but certainly not for these reasons......

I think Ben Dover's two words mean much more I know I spoke to him recently and he is of the same opinion as me with Rocco's stuff. It is not sex or porn, it is a whole different area called degrading women, I am sure it makes him popular with some guys but its not my bag or anyone I know.
Rocco used to be a nice guy great stud who was kind to women, he liked small framed women and his girlfiend at that time was. I don't know what happend to him but I shot Rocco in movies with Remmington for Hans Moser and he even stayed at my house, We went fo meals together and with my girlfiend and he was always a perfect gentleman. I saw him at Barcelona filming the said movie and if you look carefully I am in the background on IFG stand filming for TVX. I spoke to him for less than half a minute and it was a different guy.
I believe if we were allowed to censor our own movies we would be a better judge than the BBFC or the ITC for that matter,k

Re: I'm not surprised
There is more violence in some 18 cert vids than any R18.
I saw a clip of Gladiator which is a 15 cert. It showed a man being sliced in half by the wheel of a carriage. The film has got lots of CGI work. The BBFC says
{Advice for consumers
Language None
Sex One reference
Violence Frequent, strong, historical
Theme or content None
}
I just read Loaded magazine with gorgeous Sophie Ellis-Baxter (buy the mag for the pics, rest of it is usual shite), an interesting article by Davids Flint (page 73) talks about the new liberalism at the BBFC. He talks about a film called 'Baise Moi', a sort of Thelma and Louise with hardcore, it had minimal cuts.
Strange thing is, page 75/76 is missing - ripped out. I assume that it had other material about the passed videos. So this 'dangerous' mag has been fucked about by someone.
Grebo - 'Rocco's recent stuff is dragging porn through the mud '
as if porn wasn't in the mud in the first place.
'big sticks to our enemies ' - Rocco has indeed got a big stick, so someone sees a Rocco video and says ban porn? Some people are stupid and ignorant - you could be right though.
Ben Dover - 'Hear, Hear', I've seen Ben Dover in the Booty Bandit, it has its fair share of spanking of women- now some people could say that this is degrading.
Phil McC - 'It is not sex or porn, it is a whole different area called degrading women' - some feminists used to argue all porn was degrading to women.
I see hypocrisy and double standards on both sides.

Re: I'm not surprised
I wouldn't support censorship to 'protect' the viewer, but there might be a case for guidelines to protect the girls. I know in theory they are 'consenting adults', but it is difficult to see how consent can be demonstrated when you are being half choked to death.
