Aawwww...I feel a big group hug coming along....in a totally manly way of course.
None of that hugging tree's bollocks or bitch slapping each other & "letting it all out".

oh, ic. I actually always use the flat view. I like to see what everyone has to say without clicking all the links.
The only problem with the flat view though is sometimes I often end up replying to the first message when I'm really replying to another in the thread.

Good Idea as long as you don't have to mess about typing addys and passwords everytime you visit the Forum.

A silly question, I know, but Flett and I share an e-mail address, and we have frequently posted jointly. Will we now have to be separated? Or will we have to post jointly every time?

Re: ** BGAFD FORUMS (long version) **
A VERY backward step, in my view. Registration is a pain, and drives away casual contributors.
(Yes, I do run VERY busy forums, so I'm speaking from some experience).

Re: ** BGAFD FORUMS (long version) **
Sorry to be sceptical, but is it possible to explain what the registration process will achieve? Apart from collecting a load of valid email addresses...
What will you do with the addresses? Is there a privacy statement?
