Re: HIV testing
This is from the NHS website:
"GPs may be asked to disclose details of test results to insurance companies and others making health checks on an individual, but tests in GUM clinics are subject to stronger legal confidentiality rules. You do not need to be referred by your GP to have a test at the GUM clinic."
I would suggest that those of you getting tested verify facts at your own GUM clinic.
It is my understanding that GUM clinics cannot disclose information to anyone without a patient's express consent.
Once again this boils down to individuals having to take responsibility and doing their homework.

Re: HIV testing
Good point. It's better to be safe now than sorry later. It's not like the NHS never fucks up with results now is it!

Re: HIV testing
I must admit i go to a GUM clinic and i don't ever recall signing any form asking for my GP details,(but i do go Private under Bupa,at Little Aston(Sutton Coldfield) in birmingham if i need to see a doctor, and last time i went there was last year because of severe food poisioning i had from a rock festival).
As for the house business,Well i just recently put a small deposit down on land to have property built in Spain last week as i having it as a actual home once it finished and there was no problems then,(But saying that i have cut a hell of a lot adult work down,i still do it but i won't now go out my way to prove myself,)But saying that there are some points i agree with you on but i just going to enjoy my glamour/adult modelling now for the next year until next spring when i will be having different plans(whether porn model work will be in my mind next year when i'm living in spain its hard to say,i could carry on,but i have to see yet, like i said i see how things pan out this year in work wise,as i feel it hasn't be exactly a good year so far in adult work.

p.s I know its got nothing to do with this subject but i can't be bothered to search and scale the forum so i just say here and now as its the only posting i be making proberly today.(Thanks Wendy For inviting me to BGAFD4 event, sorry i couldn't make it as like i said i was away last week sorting business stuff out abroad hopefully i can make the BGAFD 5 one)Hope all you girls that went had a good time.

Wise words mate. Top marks for making points most wouldn't!!! And well done for pointing out something I've been worried about. All this extra-curricular activity. Agents and 'semi-agents', who try and shag the girls after or the night before a shoot. "Oh dear you've missed your last train, stay at my place for the night" As John says, no names no pack drill, but If you are going to try it on, get tested the same as the performers. Simple. I've decided to go along a different tack with regard to testing. I've had a meeting with the Regents Park clinic, who are very willing to help in any way. More comprehensive tests, including Hep B which is good. Also they will do very good rates for performers, I'm talking to them about that now. A credit card style card with history is also being introduced. Another thing is if there is a big production coming up, they are willing to go to the shoot if it's outside London, and test everyone on site before the shoot. You may wish to call and discuss these issues with the Director, Barbara. Their no. is 0207 402 2208
