I assume Bubbles was the nearest thing present resembling Homo sapiens.......

Bubbles is sadly no more. His demise remains unclear, although in true Jackson/queasy-rumour fashion one theory is that he was put to sleep after either a) becoming violent, or b) making sexual advances towards his owner. Tosh, I imagine, but fittingly entertaining.

Jacko DID disgard him like yesterdays newspapers after the chimp grew from cute 'toy' into an 'adult' chimp that became violent in as he would break items and swing from things. Jacko is a control freak and didn't like not being able to control Bubbles so he was shipped to a zoo where he had to be segregated from other primates because he was used to luxury and constant pampering instead of being tossed a banana and being gawped at by crowds. He supposedly died 'broken' which IS a pity. Animals suffer emotions and the poor thing was TOTALLY confused what his role was supposed to be instead of just being a normal chimp.

Which just goes to prove that wild animals/mammals/reptiles etc should only be kept in captivity by those that are deemed qualified.

Far too many people see pets as objects and not living species like us

Its not only Celebs like Jacko

What the about the thousands of puppies and kittens that are let loose everywhere when they aren't wanted/cute anymore.

Maybe a tour of the local Dog/Cat Pound with a few of the unwanted being given a lethal injection wouldn't go astray before purchasing a puppy or kitten

Truly a sad indictment on how us humans see other species-expendable

cheers

True Buttsie, I took 3 adult cats from a local cat rescue centre after they had outgrown their usefullness. 2 were pedigree's who had had lost their valuable kitten breeding years, and a 'moggy' that grew into a cat.
