yes it sure was i stayed up till 2 in the morning and that shower scene still makes me shudder caspar get in that shower but sir,

A superb film, my favourite was the headmaster on the edge of a stress attack screaming and shouting in every scene. His pre-caning speech is a classic

The lad running an errand realising his dilemma after being caught with the cigerettes, those tears are real after his caning. I laugh real tears at that scene, one I NEVER tire of
