Yeah, Paul "Wherever I Lay My Hat" Young, not content with butchering Marvin Gaye songs, did a version of Love Will Tear Us Apart. Not a patch on the original.

Didn't those Russian faux lesbians taTu record a version of The Smiths' How Soon Is Now?

Can anyone more versed in aberrant psychology than me, tell us why lesbians or gays, apparently having neural wiring that draws them sexually to their own gender, should still retain parenting instincts, when that necessarily involves some sort of sexual contact with the 'wrong' gender?

[This paradox, plus the notion that all 'lifestyle choices' involve a degree of self-sacrifice or compromise with the real world (no, I'm no fan of 'have it all' philosophies, which tend to be those of an immature child) and the large body of evidence that lack of a childhood opposite-sex role-model produces significant emotional warpage in adult years, is why I am, against all my liberal instincts, against homosexual adoption].

Is it Lent already?
Doesn't time fly..........seems like only yesterday it was Good Friday.
Well- it was a good Friday for me, at any rate. I didn't get bitten by any rhinoceroses, and I can still count to seventy-three in my head.

A good intelligent query (no pun intended), JJ, and one worthy of some serious discussion.
