I tell you what Deuce I couldn't have put it better myself and you know what, we just might end up making you an honorary (red) scouser yet and put you in charge of our Adelaide branch.

Thats a novel idea but while your pondering that thought just remember I've already praised the Everton Dual Championship Winning Team of the mid 80s in a previous thread ;-)

Its hard to believe that only Everton,Leeds & Blackburn have managed to interrupt the Liverpool,Man U & Arsenal Championship winning spree

Expect your enjoying Evertons reversal of form from last season, probably just as much as a West Ham fan I know is relishing Millwalls progress in the championship,5 points clear in pole position to be relegated ;-)

cheers

I remember that Everton side well and it was indeed an exceptional team. However I like to remember them more for doing the runners up double (to Liverpool) in 1986.

Yes I am smiling at their reversal this season. There fans crowed last year at how good they were and it's come back on them. I love the Easy Jet jokes of "being in and out of Europe in 90 mins".

I don't hate them though as I remember Hillsborough and how they supported us through that.

Come on, Roy, come to Celtic, you know it makes sense.......... you'll have to settle for ?25K a week and a place on the bench, but that isn't a bad golden handshake, is it? You are already an obscenely rich man.

Big Roy once said that he wouldn't dream of playing for any other Premiership side other than Man Utd, so impassioned was he by the club- but, due to the acrimonious nature of his departure, do you lot think he might join another Prem side out of sheer unadulterated SPITE?

I would like to see him wear the Hoops, but if he intends to break the wage strucure, he can piss right off.
