I gather there was a short piece in the Evening Standard the other day and I saw something on The Guardian's website (not bought a paper for the last 4/5 days), but I don't recall hearing/seeing anything on the news (BBC1, ITN, C4 or LBC... though LBC did report the death of some unknown bloke in a bike accident at about 3am today!)
The BBC website had a very vague story...
Given his talent and range of contribution to the photographic world I'm as equally shocked by the lack of tributes and news items as I am by his death!
Even his own website has just a very brief message.

No some untalented person who dates kate moss purchases another jag and that makes the news, but when a talented person dies in tragic circumstances it dosnt get a mention, a sign of the times im afraid!sad!

There was a 2 page spread in today's Daily Mail (30th March).
Did not read it, but a glance at it seemed to indicate he jumped in front of the train.
Sad.

I have just read it and seems Bob was a typical 'tortured genius' but it did annoy me when Marco Pierre White called hime one of his greatest friends, y'know, the usual outpouring and gushing obituory you usually find. Marco seems to forget him and Bob had a VERY public falling out and Bob was very scathing of Marco in some articles I read. He put some money into a restaurant with Marco and was turned over in some way.

There was a photo of him, inset in one he had taken of Liz Hurley "The Mirror" 28th or 29th March.
