It may be true that the young are treated leniently. There is a case to
be made for their lack of experience as a mitigating factor. Then again,
past about 11 a child is a moral adult and perfectly capable of
distinguishing between right and wrong.
So I find myself firmly on the fence with a huge paling up me jacksie.....

Actually it was Clinton who signed (if not actually campainged for) the first restrictions on "habeas corpus"

The Bush administration has just continued trying to deprive people of basic human rights.
