I'm going to hold a minute's silence for the victims of this post....

Virtually an entire generation was wiped out during the first world war. Whatever you or I think of that conflict, or any of the others that followed it, that sacrifice merits some form of acknowledgement from us. One minute of silent contemplation of that loss is not so much to ask.
