I agree - the problem is the phrase 'reasonable force'. It's subjective not objective.

However twunts like this deserve a beating.

Surely you used reasonable force. If he kept coming back for more, you used reasonable force several times, which may add up to what may seem as excessive force, but was reasonable for each incident in order to 'eliminate the threat'.

Being invloved in the goth/rock/alternative scenes.... Goth's are about one of the best low trouble groups out there.

I have no fears leaving my camera bag, with some kit, laying around while shooting knowing it will be there when I come back to it.

Likewise I've never felt "out of sorts" at a goth venue, be that "trad" or "EBM" where as many a 'nilla venue I'm always looking over my shoulder for some twatty townie to kick off.

Same with rockers and bikers...

on the whole if there is trouble, its bleedingly obvious and in front of you... with townies usualy the first you know something has kicked off is 1 second after being clocked from behind.
