Alex - I think your last remark was a bit 'below the belt'

Most of the girls we work with are very profesional. As John said above, the problems occur when the, so called 'agents' do not tell the girls what the job involves - thus we get sent unsuitable girls - some of who we have to put on the next train home, wasteing everyones time and money.

I have had two meetings with one agent, showed him samples of our work, explained to him exactly what we require from the girl, and he still sends us un-suitable girls!!!! When I tackle him afterwards his excuse "Oh yeah, well when she came in she said she was desperate for money so I thought she would do the job for you blah blah blah"

Needless to say he has now been added to my ever growing list of 'ex agents'.

In my 15 years in the business the above scenario has been acted out time and time again, and probably will be again in the future.

Exactly what do you mean by Professional?

Professional - Turning up at the right location, on the right day, at the right time and doing the job they have been booked for, and agreed to do. (And nothing more cos we're profesional too).

When booking through an agency, I ALWAYS insist on speaking to the girl before I confirm the booking. This tends to cut out a lot of the 'misunderstandings'!
Still, it doesn't guarantee that the girl will turn up............

Yea, I usualy try to speak to the girls first which generally means you end up sorting all the arrangements out direct with the model......surely this is the agents job???????

Yes, I fully understand about 'girls' and all that entails. But if said girl was say a police officer, a barrister or a heart surgeon, then not turning up on no more than a passing whim would simply not be an option. They would never get to those posts in the first place. Why should the adult industry be any less exacting in its standards? I recently discussed this matter with a model agency boss and he indicated this lack off professionalism amongst current 'models' was making his life hell - a client books a model on his books and them she doesn't turn up at the shoot, or cancels at the 11th hour, fucks everything up, fucks everybody else involved up, costs a fortune and makes him look a twat. But he blamed producers and photographers for letting standards slide and letting girls get away with things they would have been sent straight home for 10 years ago with the worlds "You'll never work in this town again!" ringing in their ears.

Years ago, the girls were more professional, because they could still make a living out of only doing topless.
I remember booking Maria Whittaker for 2 hours topless and paying ?300 about 14 years ago.
The business has become so diluted today that the majority models we attract are not impressed with earning ?300 to be fucked up the arse, when 14 years ago they got the same money for only getting their tits out!
To be fair to the producers, they're still getting paid the same if not less than they were years ago.
So unless you guys out there want to start paying through the nose for your porn, it looks like were stuck with the business as it is today!
