Oh boy, what have I done? I gotta stop posting on the spur of the moment when under the imfluence. Here goes.....
First off, an apology. The intention of the post was not to criticise you, the models, the 5 camera men, 7 make up artists, 2 sparkies or carious behind the scenes staff for the obviously huge effort you put in. If my post came across as being critical of any of the above then I am sorry.
I KNOW I could not have done what you did (not to mention not being able to have financed it) and for that I take my hat off to you and all concerned. I am not only the webmaster of an amateur site but am also an amateur myself and I think I know my place.
What I meant by "way too many close ups of unidentifiable girls" is not that the girls were unknown as Buttsie has stated above (I have worked with a few of them myself) but that instead there werent enough facial shots and were too many close ups and even then the camera only held on any one shot for a few seconds before moving off somewhere else. Sometimes the only way to know who the camera was on at that moment was by remembering tattoos etc of the girls from earlier scenes. Also it looked like some of the girls were really enjoying themselves but just as they were really getting into it the camera cuts away to someone else.
Why do I think it was an "opportunity wasted"? Like I stated in my original post I think that was to do with the UK censorship laws - the opportunity to see the 40 girls together in hardcore action would be amazing. If such a show does exists I apologise for the comment and I for one will buy a copy - if not then I believe that is what makes it an opportunity wasted.
However, that all said I did enjoy it and believe it was value for money. I don't agree with the Profs comments, I think you do deserve credit for doing what no one else has had the balls to do in the past and for making it work on many levels.
Jason (feeling suitably humble)
