"but times are hard for a lot of people, so maybe pile it high and sell it cheap is the way to go,"

Actually, no. That's the very worst thing you could do for all concerned. Sex and porn are quite different to baked beans. Sex and porn are not price sensitive for a start. If there's a particular type of sex, sex movie, DVD etc, that rings your bell you will just have to have it. And if the price is within reason you will pay it. The reason times are tough is that now there are zillions of chortling silly twats filming both themselves and their equally unappealing partners and associates in pseudo sexual congress and just slapping it on the net or DVD. The market is flooded with cheap or free porn. And it's not even good porn - it's almost universally crass, offish, obnoxious and disgusting. This is a double whammy for the porn consumer - not only is most contemporary porn virtually free, it's repulsive as well.

The way forward might be to made 'good porn', sparingly. Build up a sense of expectation and longing amongst consumers, charge them good money (they will be glad to pay) and make them feel it was special, that it was worth it.

Forget about all the chortling tattooed oafs, the gaping chavy chaver, and the knobheads who, express admiration for them - those losers are the ones most likely to want freebies. Let them all get on with it and fuck each other over. I think tasteful quality content and quality punters might be the only real way forward nowadays.

Ask Rem, he?ll tell ya?

You do have a point officer but there are some good quality sites that are not doing very well and giving people a couple of days membership for less than $3.00 is merely a way of marketing your site it dosnt mean that the content is crap !wink!
