I remember when they were first famous, back in the 1980's. I had the White Feathers album, probably still have it in a box somewhere. I know that a lot of male popstars in that era looked like women but you could generally tell they were men underneath. I genuinely thought that the bass player in Kajagoogoo was a girl though. I thought this for about a year. I was stunned when I later discovered it was male!!

Apparantly Nick Rhodes' real name is Nicholas James Bates. I remember this from the 1980's when they were first famous. According to Andy Taylor's autobiography which came out last year Nick Rhodes only played the black keys on his keyboard, never the white ones! He was more keen to be a celebrity in a band and be in the limelight than he was to be famous as a musician as such!

FiveStar will probably be next. Although they had a go at reforming once and only three of them re-appeared. They bizarelly still called themselves FiveStar though. Reminds me of that joke in the last series of Blackadder. There was a double-act that appeared, to entertain the soldiers, called The Three Twerps. Blackadder said: "the big joke being there is only two of them..."

Well if nothing I really like the design of that poster EXCEPT for that bearded cunt with ponytales, shades and a skirt ... I put him down as favourite for Mr. Nobbly Knees 1984 ...

I've thought of two 80's bands who have yet to reform, but will no doubt do so soon: China Crisis and OMD. The former members will resign from their jobs at McDonald's and B&Q and get their old bands back together! lol.

Too late - both have already reformed. In fact the former supported the latter on their tour last October.

Really? Couldn't have been a very big tour then. I never heard about it. lol.
