Well, I was once called Mutley by one or two on here. I suppose that's how the pigeon came to mind.

Some of the ridiculous prices asked for very ordinary DVDs at a few dealers seem to saying "Fuck off and buy this title from a pirate outfit".

I think what he means if non porn movies. Some of them can have th e cheek to want 15 quid for a dvd with no extras and then bring out a more expensive version with very crappy extras. Worst were movies like Armageddon, starship troopers or face off. Half way through the movie you`d get mickey mouse telling you to flip the disc.

Welcome to 1998 - to be fair modern DVD's have come quite a bit - even your bog-standard ?8.99 new title stripped down has some extras on it.
I think Deano was on about mature titles though, I also think that DVD's are a very costly and limiting way of distributing your work. Packaging, posting, authoring all add's up.
Successful adult film distributors have very quickly taken advantage of the Internet as a distribution method for work, and it's very easy to secure your work with things like DRM (Digital Rights Management) so copies are harder to swap around.

I understand how you would feel but should explain myself.
Here in Oz, I've been asked to pay nearly $AUS80 (about 40 GBP) for 'Private' titles. WEll, I find Private terribly boring so I wouldn't bother anyway, but its just an example. If they wanted $35 to $40 for something I liked then I'd pay if I knew some of the profits went back to the makers and ultimately to the girls - who I would never want to rip off.
Anyway, we all look at mostly free porn on the net - much of it copied illegally so we're all going to gaol together.
