How do you suggest I get to work ?

1. Move closer to where you work.

2. Get up earlier.

3. Get another job.

4. Share a car with a colleague.

My point isn't to persuade you to give up the car, it's to just explain how calling the car 'necessary' is exaggerating.

1. Certainly an option if you'd give me the ?100,000 or so I conservatively estimate it would cost me to move.
2. How exactly does getting up earlier get me to work ?
3. Get me a job on with the same money and conditions and it is a possibility
4. Not an option due to work commitments i.e. having to work sometimes very late with little warning

I understand your predicament but none of that makes your car necessary. It just makes your life easier.

Dick Moby....Sounds like you are selfish but honest about it at least.

Just because you are going to peg it in 30 years doesnt excuse you from having a bit of respect for your fellow species.

This is the problem with the world right now (cue Burt Bacharachs What The World Needs Now)

People are all out for themselves.

As for stop the breeders. Those who do this responsibly are ok butlets not forget the UK has the highest pregnancy rates in Europe.

The breeders need to be educated.

Altogether sing NOW!

What the world needs now,
Is love, sweet love

Its the only thing that theres...just...to little of..

Merry xmas everyone!xmas!

I must admit to being selfish but that's why I work. I work to buy myself things I want and to treat myself to the good things in life (when I can afford it). I don't work to support people who either wont work or do nothing to help themselves. Unfortunately I have no say over where my tax payments go which might be a good thing.
