By a simple calculation, 1300 videos in an almost 20 year career span mean about 70 movies in a year, i.e. 6 movies a month. There are actors who claim they can do that in a couple of days. I don't believe them, but I think the figure of six videos or movies a month is not an exaggeration but rather low.
=============================
If you wish to pursue this discussion in an intelligent way, without falling into name calling, while mathematically 1,300 may be possible in a 20 year male porn career (Tom Byron is about there I think), all I am saying is that Rocco has NOT made 1,300 films. There just aren't 1,300 film around.
He says he made them, but that does not mean it is accurate.
The other claim is that he was close to John Holmes, which I don't think it is unlikely and inaccurate a definition. At the end of his career/life John Holmes was not very close to anyone except Buck Adams from what I have read.People knew his reputation and stayed away from John...

Around where? Is there a place where it is possible to see all the video releases ever made? Also, does a kind of register exist where are included even the videos made but never released (do you know how many unreleased movies are in FM vaults? I don't. But that there are is common knowledge)? Also, how can you tell a video where rocco is featured before he became the superstar we know in the early '90s and was not featured on the cover by name or picture ? How can you trace that? There's just one way: watch the video. And how many movies did he make which were not transferred on tape? I've personally been looking for one with Pontello and Malone of which I owned the fotonovel but never been able to find. A site in progress like this or IAFD can help establish a good starting point but do not exhaust the matter.
