Maybe it would be an idea to post new infos (e.g. a new film or
additions to an existing entry). All forum users could work together to collect
the infos to this subject (e.g. ID's, caps, scenebreakdown) like we did here.
When all infos are collected, one of us (Johray1, lgwin, me or anybody else)
could make a proper write up at the end of the thread with the relevant
infos for the db.
Doing it this way, we could spare you to take part in the discussion like jj did.

In addition to that, we could start an extra thread (like I did for jj), where we
collect all solved threads, so that none of the infos get lost, even if you
have no time to put the infos into the db.

What do you think about this idea?

I'm back and I may have a bit more time from now on, but may have e-mail problems shortly (temporary I hope). I still have old e-mails to catch up on. I have done some in the last few days which accounts for the minor additions there have been. I haven't begun on forum information yet.

The above suggestions seem like a good idea to me. My contributions to the topics you are likely to be discussing will probably be minimal anyway, as my knowledge is concentrated on the 70s and 80s (and isn't good on late 80s German porn).

Thanks for all the support from everyone who has contributed to this thread. And, no, I still haven't heard from jj unfortunately.

As by now obviously no one expects jj's return to the egafd anymore... !tears!


... IMHO the main goal is to keep the site "on"; as the valuable source
of information it is.

If from now on Alec will be the only "full" admin; there will be cuts to be made, sadly.
(Time and/or Alec will tell how a "future-egafd" will/could be like....)

But I am sure everyone who is an active-user of the site will do
(or leave) his best to keep it going. !nerd!


And yet still I hope to hear from jj ... not about a "Comeback" to the db...

Had an account, but people started to send me dickpics and wanted to be my friend. Don't understand that part of that site. I get the hookerpart or camshow invites. But why people use dickpicks is beyond me.

Great idea and it seems to work for alex.

Reason of my question: I started to archive Puaka covers. Not quite done yet though.

A post with 23+ films could be quite annoying to those who do the actual work here. And I don't know all actresses - I just can figure out some from the covers.

egafd software is unfortunatly pretty old and outdated. In an ideal solution people could submit additions via a form and there would be some "accredited" users (and public comments) who just have vote for acception. There would be not more work for the admins. If someone of those "accredited" isn't an expert in the specific genre - he could still abstain from voting.

Currently it feels bad to post some info if it is not perfect. Don't want to bother the current admins with it. As they have to ask and dig through to many posts.

But your solution to organize it with certain threads/posts is good.

I totally agree. It's annoying beyond compare and that's why I block

It's always risky to trust covers alone, as SOME of them are not faithful
to the actual-ontent.
Even "noted"labels like Videorama are not free from sin regarding this.
But, as far as german girls go, I am sure Deezer could ID some of those
that are not "cleared" by now!

Agree as well. In general it feels bad to create yet more work-load, besides
the question of it being "perfect" or not.
It will always take efforts to get anything done..
That's why I keep it all in since May, even though
sometimes it's hard not to point out this or that to be corrected or added...


And if Alec might read these lines...

Missing JJ doesn't downrate your efforts or presence on the forum!!!

Start a new thread. I would like to discuss it here (without alec being involved).
If there are German girls and in a range about 1990 to 2005, maybe I can
help. For E-Europe girls, Johray is the man:-)
Dx One and marcel_43 are at least regular users of the forum. So I think
they can give us some hints too.
I don't think it is a problem for alec. If so, I think he will give us a hint. But
don't expect, that he add the infos to the db very fast:-)
And as I've seen in the past, it seems, that marcel_43 and Dx One use the
forum as a resource for their work at iafd also. So maybe some stuff will make
it's way to iafd, which is better then nothing.

Yes, but I think, it is simply a question of money to implement a new software.
On the other hand, I have sent some additions corrections to iafd in the last
three month, and for some of them I'm waiting, waiting, waiting... for
correction or response.
And the software is up to date:-)

That's the reason, why I prefer the forum here. Even if the db don't get
updated with my infos, most times my posts gets an answer from some
other users and some help, if I can't ID one of the girls.
