Maybe some time in the future the following may be a good idea and that is approaching a gu medicine consultant and hiring them privately on a block booking basis.
Thus if a certain day of each month was arranged at say a location in the south, one in the centre and another in Northern England for models to go along and get themselves tested.
This is what a lot of consultants do when dealing with medical-legal work, they arrange some premises on the basis they are going to see a certain amount of people and that way they know what the potential costs involved are going to be.
This also helps to lower the overall costs, as the saying goes if something is done on a mass basis, costs are lower.
May take a bit of organising initially and for someone to decide to make the effort, but once up and running has potential to be successful.
There is a company in Manchester at www.medi-lab.co.uk who i visited last week. Just off motorway near salford.
They offer appointments on a same day basis and for certain tests you can get results on the same day (albeit by telephoning them)
They are an actual laboratory so i think it is a lot more speedier as they dont need to send samples away.
I went on the monday having made an appointment only 2 hours earlier and got certificates through the post by Thursday. Cost was ?113.00
