r18dvdshop problems

I ordered a couple of dvds from them on the 28th Dec.Are they off until the New Year does anyone know?

when it was owned by jay the service was first class but now orders take a while which according to a mail i got is due to them not carrying stock of all titles. my november order took 24 days which was no doubt due to a mr guy fawked so mr christmas must cause mayheim malc

As BlueRaa has not identified himself (understandable), I cannot comment on his specific order as I have no way of knowing which is his. However our delivery period is clearly stated on our website. Since we took over the R18 shop, we have never been able to deliver "next day", and immediately changed the delivery section of the site to explain that.

The status of BlueRaa's order did not "remain unchanged" as he says. It was changed from Card Processing to Card Authorised the first processing day after he placed the order. Dvds are despatched the same day as the card is authorised.

As everyone knows, the whole Royal Mail system slows down at Xmas. There is little we can do about that. As regards our staff, we worked until 3pm on 23/12, then resumed and worked authorising cards and despatching orders on Tues, Wed and Thursday in between Xmas and New Year. We decided to have Xmas Day, Boxing Day and even Xmas Eve off, as I am sure BlueRaa did.

By the way, the old R18 shop has now disappeared, to be replaced by a new version at www.r18dvdshop.co.uk - with over 1,000 R18 dvds at ?15 each - delivery included (but not next-day unfortunbately, and also subject to holidays).

Just to clarify, when Keith said the old R18 Shop has gone, he means the old r18dvdshop has gone and been replaced by the new r18dvdshop site, part of Britishporn.org

R18 shop is still here and although we don't offer as many titles, what we do have are mostly at the ?15 price break and with our daily import method we despatch into the Uk postal system via first class mail within 24 hours of ordering.

We would also like to wish our customers from the forums and all who frequent the BGAFD site and of course the admin., all the very best for 2006
