also as an aside, where is Killergram on that list ? with 6 international DVD releases every month a massively successful website and having brought us some of the best UK Porn stars in recent years, Lee Logan, Skyla, Keisha et al, they are arguably the most successful company in the UK, and they don't even get a mention ?

Can you imagine poor old Billie doing the rounds of Xmas dinner parties this year, with chortling luvvies sniggering, "I say Billie 'ol bean, bet you're over the moon at being nominated by the 'ol dirty mac brigade, haw, haw, haw!"

One other point is that the budget for producing just 1 episode of "Call girl" would exceed the budget of probably 20 completed soft core films, including BBFC.

Although I applaud the misguided attempt at cavorting with the media, it will never result in any kind of respect from them. In fact if you look at any main stream stars, certainly in music, they NEVER court the media, they always attempt to annoy the media, because this makes them, "Cool". Just look at Kate Moss, did she creep and crawl to the media? Amy Winehouse is another, who puts 2 fingers up at the wankers, but ends up cool.

It would have been far better to be a little ironic and voted best soft core sex scene of all time, Frank and Pat Butcher's famous but revolting attempt at shagging in Spain a few years ago.

At least this would not have been so obvious as a blatant attempt at arse licking!

The media is nobodys friend and the sooner people realise it the better. They try to tell you that they will give you publicity and coverage etc but no sooner than they do that they slate you to the floor aswell!! No win situation, it will always be the same.

I can just imagine Billie and friends now at Xmas Dinner snorting and sneering at the likes of us! Funni thing is it's people like them who secretly stash the porn and use Call Girls LOL!!

When will people realise that this is an INDUSTRY THAT MAKES MONEY and thats what it's all about and there's nothing to be ashamed of!

There are worse types of 'business' especially those that rob old women of their pensions like these cowboy builders etc. At least what we do isn't harming anyone!! x

Good afternoon bgafd viewers,

Being responsible and very proud that we have pushed this years Adult Awards into the public media we would like to thank everyone involved in the industry who has helped put us where we belong.

The Adult industry is a serious well organised and regulated industry, where producers and talent as a whole work together and have now made the difference within the mainstream media.

ITV and Billie Piper herself have helped us in leaps and bounds to let the general public know that the industry is in fact an industry to be taken seriously otherwise they would not have produced and aired such an amazing show.

Billie Piper is a great actress and a very brave woman to take on such a role, knowing that the public would see her in a different light, she went on and made the decision to do what she wanted to do and made the most of her role.

We would like to take this opportunity to emphasise that voting is purely down to a legitimate judging panel and it is down to them to decide who will take the award for " Best Soft Core Production??

We have now without doubt put the Adult Industry out there in the public eye, now it is time for us as a whole industry to show everyone that we are proud. Lets hold our heads up high and stick together and show everybody how proud we are to be part of an industry we hold so dearly.

This is a very rewarding and exciting time for everybody involved in the Adult Industry and each and every one of us should be proudly celebrating our achievements and looking forward to producing and participating in many more movies.

We of course do not really need to mention but will, that now more people are aware that the industry is a well respected and regulated industry, that this in turn will bring more investment into the industry, more sells of DVD lines, which in turn benefits everybody involved.

Congratulations to everybody and we look forward to you joining us at this years awards and having one of the best party's the British media have seen.

I would firstly like to be shown, where in press has the industry been slated, or branded seedy, or any of the other comments that have been made on the forum.

As far as I can see it has been people on the forum whom have branded the industry with these derogatory terms, which is disappointing.

As far as the self nomination procedure goes, if it is good enough for the AVN awards, then it is good enough for us. It is impossible for us to know or get access to every product on the market. Producers know which of their products are the best and therefore are the best people to put them forward.
Which also leads us to Killergrams lack of nominations, if you refer to the nominations, you will see that Killergram do have nominations, but only those made by some of their actresses, whom also had to provide the screeners. We also contacted Killergram asking them to nominate, and provide screeners but they were not interested. We would love them to be involved as a major producer, but it is their choice not ours.

You are completely correct when you state that Killergram "are not interested in the awards" and just for the record we have no connection or knowlege in the nomination of one of our scenes. We want no part of this at all...
I have spent a few minutes looking at this forum as well as the UKAP Producers forum and it's patently obvious that my feelings towards the Awards are shared by others, however it's for them (and not me) to air their feelings..
Marino's comments were "right on the button" and respect goes out to him..
As we have just moved from Killergram Towers into our new place we were thinking of taking a chainsaw to the trusty white sofa where lots of "porn stars" have graced us with their super talents. We can chop it into little chunks and create the "White Sofa Awards" ..

Hence I am submitting my "Jimslip Returns To Uranus", whereby I shall be obtaining a decommissioned Saturn 5 rocket and launching both myself and a few tasty birds in the direction of that much maligned planet Uranus.
