Thanks for that objective viewpoint Scott

Still interested in reading who has got beef with UKAP. Be good to hear from the actual people this thread is aimed at really. Especially those who were staunch critics in the past

Shall we assume if there is no response that everything is a-ok now? !happy!

All down to jealousy I suspect. Some people just can't stand other people being successful. And no doubt ukap has helped weed out some of the charlatans and dodgy producers so they are going to get stick for that. If people are having to bitch about you then you can rest assured that you must be doing something right! ;)

I don't have 'a beef' with the club, you decided you didn't want my continued membership during the 'great password debacle' and got rid of me (quite bluntly)

I have my views on it, but have never voiced them to anyone beyond topics that occur on this site.

Who are you Peter? Did I personally tell you we didnt want your membership? I dont seem to recall

The only reason I can see is maybe that you are not a producer under the criteria outlined on the site and the purpose for asking your views is what this thread is all about.

So feel free to say if you wish

I was asked to join at the start by the late JoeA, as 'people like me' were needed to be involved from the start if it was to get anywhere. (his words, not verbatim)

When the password changed and I enquired about the new one, all I got was a curt reply saying "Everyone who needs the new password has been told".

So that's a big 'f**k off' then!

I believe others also had the same experience, so maybe that's why the club attracts negativity from some of the excluded 'general hecklers'.*

*not me personally, I can honestly say I've never commented outside a thread on this site.

Joe had a vision of the entire industry coming on board but this was never going to work as the business was too fragmented to work this way and therefore too chaotic. We may as well just post on here to the same effect and not get anywhere (no offence mods but some of the fans were anti UK porn let alone anti UKAP)

It soon became about producers who were willing to subsidise the association and thats where a lot of producers fell to the way side. No one was ever to my knowledge told to "fuck off", literally or metaphorically.

It was quite simple, many didnt pay their way so were automatically not allowed into the association

No association can do anything without funding otherwise I have no idea why you were evicted unless you left because of the new subs system which is still in effect today. Dont pay, then the password is just changed. Want it? Then pay up. Its a simple system

I wouldnt take it personal but a lot of things have changed since the early days. If you fit the joining criteria then you are elegible to join if you want. The first meet is for free but the network parties are not

I think the others you mentioned were also not bona fide producers unless I am mistaken of course
