"I was the first person to shoot Nici"

I beg to differ sir! A good friend and colleague (Bob Belcher) assures me it was he. Apparently, husband Chris brought Nici round to Bob's studio for her first ever modelling shoot - and she was very shy! Some time later Bob also filmed Nici's first on-camera shag session with husband Chris - She played a saucy secretary who would "do absolutely anything" to get the job! Those were the days. She looked so much more demure and appealing back then, as did many others, even Louise.

Didn't catch your "Jaffa" thread, but it sounds like it was interesting and objective - unlike all the "Oh Layla, Bev, Rebecca, etc, your so wonderful" type cobblers! Sadly, Louise is no longer the girl she was, but she was a genuine stunner in her day and I can't say that about many other contenders in this arena - certainly not in recent years.

Unfortunately that's a bit lost on me, as I happen to think that The Beatles are the most overrated group in history. They were a second rate pub band who happened to be in the right pub at the right time and got lucky, mainly because Brian Epstein fancied John. Sure they wrote a couple of good-ish songs, but as for pushing their 'craft' by stretching for new horizons artisticly or whatever, I'd have to say bollocks. Octopus's Garden? Yeah, that really pushed the boundaries!! And then the solo stuff. My Sweet Lord anyone? Or should I say He's So Fine by the Chiffons. That took talent right? Helen Wheels? The only song ever written on one chord. And as for musicianship. I remember in the sixties when [bizarrely] Ringo won 'Best Drummer in the World' in some NME poll or something. This was an interview given by John some time after the results were announced. Pete Murray, [for it was probably he]: "John, I see Ringo's just been voted Best drummer in the World. Do you think he is?" John: Best Drummer in the World? Ringo's not even the best drummer in The Beatles!"
