No surprise... the French are the most paranoid nation in Europe about drugs. It's illegal there to even wear a T shirt with a picture of a marijuana leaf.

I don't expect people to turn up pissed, stoned or high when they come to work and wouldn't accept it.

But I don't consider it my business to know if they had a pill or a spliff on Saturday night. In fact it's downright disgusting for employers to delve into their employees' private lives. I wouldn't accept being treated like that by anyone... why do you?

In the good old days if I turned up for work and it appeared to my boss that I was under the influence of drink or drugs he would sack me without any proof. Now in these bad new days of random testing he can't do that until a test proves him correct, not that I would be sacked. I would now be sent to the company doctor for counselling but that's the modern nanny state for you.

You have been conditioned to believe that " illegal" is synoymous with wrong. I think that the state and the Establishment that run it are red in tooth and claw with illegal acts that they have caused to come about.

Do you honestly think that invading a sovereign country and killing thoousands of innocent civilians,men,women and children is legal?

Think about it and get down on your hands and knees and pray that you never do anything "illegal" by mistake, because that would really frighten you.
