I met these two blokes in a design studio. Someone told me they had a band and were working up some demo tracks. I got chatting to them. They were nice enough. I thought: 'yeah, yeah, usually fucking bollocks music people. Never hear about them again.' They were Underworld.

Arctic Moneys, Zutons and Phil Jupitus! Arctics were, and still are a pub band with good marketing, Zutons were good, especially the sax player. Jupitus isn't a band but saw him at Jongleurs in Camden circa 93/94. Absolutely brilliant.

At the Neald Hall in Chippenham '73 saw The Sensational Alex Harvey band
with a little known support act called The Average White Band..Not bad for ?0.50 entry.

Smashing Pumpkins! They used to play a lot at the Avalon Night Club back in the late 1980s here in Chicago.
