If he's old enough to run around city centres, hacksawing padlocks, then he's old enough for a slap, if caught.

Pensioners these days. Don't they get enough fucking money? Get them down the mines or laying sleepers on the railways. They're a bigger nuisance then the kids.

Caractus,
If it was in Scotland then I stand corrected. I re iterate it is impossible to have sex with an inanimate object and one can only masturbate using the object. Although most people see it as a joke it is the thin end of a wedge whereby the authorities and nosy members of the public can enter into the privacy of one's home and catch one masturbating, report you to the police who will charge you with a sexual offence. The sad thing is everyone thinks that it is a joke.
Conversely having sex with an animal is called bestiality and is illegal in the UK.
Thank you.
Mike.

And I repeat, there is no way this should have gone to court. If he does it in a public place, fine, charge him with lewd behaviour. Behind closed doors, what a man does with his bike, vacuum cleaner, apple pie, whatever is his own business.

Beutelwolf,

Timid and frightened members of the public can always be persuaded to plead guilty on the promise of a lesser penalty but to be found guilty of Disturbing the Peace by masturbating in the privacy of one's room is another outrageous misuse of the law by the prosecuting authorities. If anyone was guilty of disturbing anyone's peace it was the two nosy cleaners who used a master key to enter his flat.
Mike.

Lol.......though if I'd have said: "Oh, you're so spot on with your assessment Mike!" I wouldn't be a sycophant?

I've already made aired my views on this in the original thread on the incident. My views were very similar to yours in that the guy shouldn't have been arrested, and it was no ones business.

Yours,

Sam 'the Sycophant' Slater.

Sycophant? Why?

There are several people who frequent these forums that might be deserving of such a title. Mr Slater is not one of them.
