Ello Lucifer.Drogba will almost certainly want to link up with his 'daddy Jose' again,as will Lampard, but Lampard's departure from The Bridge will be more respected by us fans as Frank has given us 110% since he joined us in 2001.Carvalho could also join Jose at Inter, but could be tempted to stay providing we(Chelsea) appoint the right manager !thumbsup!
Ashley Cole is also mooted to be joining Inter. They're welcome to him.
You lot are lucky to get Sparky as your boss.He clearly was the fans favourite to get the Chelsea job,but no hard feelings on my part and i'm sure he'll do a cracking job at Eastlands. !happy!

This is a two-bob forum Bob,reason why no edit button.Sorry admin !grin!.I actually reckon Essien will stay.
Jose is going to offload a few players at Inter.Ibrahimovich will almost certainly be the first as Jose does'nt like badass players and Ibrahimovich is a badass,a white version of Drogba,i dare to add.
A deal could include Drogba moving to Inter, with Ibrahimovich moving to Chelsea.with a Fiat and a year's supply of pizza thrown in as part of the deal. !laugh!

Mike... shouldn't Jose be Lampard's STEP dad? After all it was Ranieri who had enough faith in him to pay ?11m (a sum of money that was ridiculed at the time, but has been more than paid back, and with interest, by his goals, assists and general dynamism). What if both Inter and Juventus came in for Lampard... who would he choose; Ranieri or Mourinho?

Interesting to see that The Sun now claim that both Rijkaard and Mancini are to be interviewed for the job next week.

Yes the Sun says that, but according to both the Express and the Mirror it's Scolari that Chelsea have identified as the number one target.

And according to the Star it looks like Ancelloti is the man, adding that Rijkaard's agent denies hearing anything from Chelsea.
The Star further adds that the uncertainty is unsettling several Chelsea players.

The Independent says that Mancini isn't on Chelsea's shortlist, but the Telegraph says Mancini has been spotted boarding a flight to London.

Lampard should join Ranieri Bob,as you said,it was Claudio that brought Frank to Chelsea,Jose only made Lampard a better player.
Lampard owes us fans nothing, and if he was to leave, though a sad moment,we certainly would'nt stand in his way........but we must fight to keep him by making him our highest paid player.
The manager rumours will no doubt ramble on and on,and the distraction of Euro 2008 starting tomorrow will hopefully be a distraction and we can finally land our man !thumbsup!Bob Singleton wrote:

I disagree about the contract/pay thing with Lampard. If he gets the ?130,000+ he's rumoured to want, that puts him on a par with JT. Given JT has a clause stating that, as club captain, he has to be the highest paid player, then he might have to be given ?140/?150K. So then Ballack may say, hey, if those two are getting that much, then I should get a pay rise on my ?120,000. What about Essien and Carvalho and others who are just as important to the team... they'll all want pay rises too.
There has to come a point when the club says, this is our pay ceiling... especially if the club is to keep to its plan to "break even" by the end of the 2009/2010 season.
By all means pay decent wages to attract top players (and let's face it anything over ?70,000 is "decent" by anyone's standards... except a few footballers obviously), but I think bonuses should be used to reward on-field success.
I don't think any club should be held to ransom... the changes since the Bosman ruling have put the power squarely into the hands of the players (of course before that the power was too much in favour of the clubs). If Lampard isn't happy with the ?120,00 or so he's already getting then let him find a club willing to match his salary requirements... they'll be few and far between.
