Yes and its natural acting not overdone ,interesting to read Rodney Bewes was all for a reunion but James Bolam declined he has fond memories of the show too.

Think there might have been a fallout i think it was when Bolam was in When the boat comes in and in 1991 i heard him on the Steve wright show and he hardly mentioned the series.

Never liked when the boat comes in, but have like Bolam in
most other things, biederbecke series, only when I laugh, new tricks etc

No i got bored with Boat after a while it was ok at 1st but seemed to have a lot of loose ends.New Tricks is very good.

Sorry Steve, but New Tricks, for its acting talent, is shit. Apart from Dennis Watermans dodgy teeth that always make me laugh.
They need a new writer........and quick!
