Cancellation fees - what do you think?

Yes. Bluebird pays strike fees both in UK and US if a scene gets cancelled within 24 hours of date. It's only fair on the talent.

Never cancelled a shoot EVER in 15 years. Instead I've rescheduled.

Like many other ideas that would up standards in the business this will never take off because the business is still too fragmented and not taken serious enough by the majority who populate it.

The door would have to swing both ways though. Models forget about the costs if the producer has to get to them half way across the country in terms of fuel costs etc. Would they want to reimburse a producer their costs if they fail to show up?

A lot of these issues with regards health, working conditions should really be handled by some kind of models union.

If models band together they could attempt to try and make things better but the thing with this is that many models see doing porn as easy money and dont take it serious as a career but a stepping stone to something else.
