I read on Teletext today that the BBC has had over 3000 complaints about Carol Thatcher's sacking. Bearing in mind that the reporting of the amount of complaints something has received usually leads to more people complaining, there will be loads of people jumping on the bandwagon now and complaining! I wouldn't be surprised if the Beeb will have had 10,000 complaints by next week! Maybe Carol will get reinstated.

People who are TV presenters have a public and a private persona. I know people have said that the green room is part of the workplace, but how far should we take this? I mean a children's TV presenter has to be squeeky clean and they obvioulsy cant make any coarse reference, or swear, during one of their tv broadcasts. But if backstage the guy said to one of his colleagues that the head of the BBC was a c**t (using the full word obviously) or refers to how he (the presenter) got so pissed at his mate's party last weekend he could hardly walk, this is all very at odds with how a kiddies TV presenter should be, and even though he said it in the green room and not on tv, should he be sacked - or at least pulled up - for that?
