long time lurker, first time poster....
I've just gone and got Sky and have had a look at Private Blue and Girls (what with it being one night fees). Now I'm looking at television x, but how good is it really? do you actually see anything or is it all softcore, don't point the camera there sort of stuff? Is the program bukkake as interesting as it sounds?
thanks for help,
Jack P

Re: television x
television x has a minimum 12 month contract, the adult channel can be cancelled at anytime.
Re: television x
cheers, but i see that there are two adult channel channels, one for a one nighter, and one with a contract. can the contract sign-up be cancelled at any time?
I've never seen either the adult channel or television x, so does either offer harder material than the usual softcore erotica? are they allowed to show anything (vaginal/oral/anal penetration, ejaculate?) or is it still censored?
thanks in advance,
Jack P

Re: television x
I must admit I have subscribed to Television X in the past, but not for
maybe 18 months.
It has never been hardcore, and probably will not be until they change
the UK laws. The sexual level does vary from night to night, and from time
to time, but is never 'hard'.
I think the UK sex channels do try to push the boundries, then get their
wrists slapped, and have to go 'soft' for a while till the heat goes off them.
It was a mixture of modern short 'films', which varied in how daring they
were, and older american feature films, which were so heavily censored
that you saw almost nothing (and often were so old they featured some
porn stars who I know are dead).
In fact you had more chance of seeing some fanny on a film on Channel 4
or 5 than on some of the US sex films on Television X.
Many of the 'modern' films had obviously been shot with 2 cameras, one
showing a full fanny or penetration shot, the other just off to one side. As
you may guess, we got the see the shot off to one side.
Also, I got sick to death of Shagnasty and Mutley (who ever told these
guys they were funny) and the prat with a pony tail whose name I cannot
remember.
Television X have great adverts, that really tempt you, but don't deliver
once they go encrypted. The sexy girl says 'we get much harder after
encryption' and then they show a US film about 15 years old with almost
everything to do with sex cut out of it.
Dont waste your money, I did for two years (in fact the second year they
took my subscription without even asking).

Re: television x
you'll never see any hardcore on TVX or Adult Channel until the uk laws change. you may sometimes see the result of a "cum shot" briefly but once the regulators realise it's been shown there is a period of time before you would see this again, they obviously clamp down on it.

Re: television x
No there is no hardcore any UK licenced service currently thanks to the ITC. However the law has just been changed (Communications Act 2003) the old requirement to ensure "taste and decency" at all times has been replaced by a new requirement of ensuring "generaly accepted standards" the new television watchdig (Ofcom) will be asking the public what they think "generaly accepted standards" should mean in the first half of next year.
I am campaigning to ensure that R18 material (hardcore) be permitted on subscription services, it is after all a generaly accepted standard. The law in this area has degenerated into farce recently as mostl foreign adult broadcasters show hardcore and it can be legaly watched here! If you want some more information on this issue check out my web site (www.ofwatch.org.uk) or drop me a line and I will let you know when Ofcom start asking the public about television standards.
