1. find the right people,
2. get a good script together
3. and shoot a great film.
4. Then he will get it edited
5. have the box covers designed and printed
6. arrange for the duplication of the tapes
7. and then he will sell it and make a profit for the investor??
Or is that where things may go slightly astray? To make the product is just one part of the whole situation, it then has to be sold and has to make a profit.

Who would give you money if you could not show a return on the investment?
I can write a good script, and make you a great film; I can feature the sexiest girls in the best locations with great studs in fast moving total hardcore sex action. I can design and print box covers, I can edit the video on state of the art equipment, I can duplicate it from digital masters and give you a copy as close to the original as possible. That?s what a producer does. He also has to finance this epic! He also has to sell it! That?s what you can?t do and that?s where it all falls to pieces.
When you tell me you can do half the job you don?t exactly inspire me with confidence, when you can do all the job, come back and we can talk again.

Fair enough so, I'm not suggesting RS gives his cash away to some randomer. Just saying, I don't think making porn is that hard, that's all. I mean, look at some of the people doing it, and I DON'T mean to refer to RS specifically with that comment - I've never met the guy after all. But I have met plenty of porn producers. I'm a fairly bright guy and I don't see the competition being all that tough, in terms of business savvy in the porn business.
