Having had a subscription to Sex View TV for the last year and half I really cannot wait until the UK satellite channels have the right to show XXX movies. I appreciate it maybe a year or so along the line but I think it may be the saviour of the Brit Porn Industry, Imagine all the soft core versions of movies on TVX and TAC available hardcore, better than the current crop of USA movies I have to watch (albeit better than softcore UK porn). I hope it encourages producers in the UK to continually improve their movies and hope that a new breed of producer can emerge taking over from the current old guard whose movies have become tired and jaded. So for those who would like the same goal please bombard Ofcom with correspondence, otherwise the status quo will prevail, as for UK producers out there, let those with the strongest product prevail.

Yes JP I agree. Ofcom's public consultation on standards is due this summer and everyone should be ready to send an email in support of broadcasting R18 content, although I suspect Ofcom will suggest it in their draft code anyway.

No I don't think so. Either Ofcom will allow the BBFC R18 classification on TV (likely) or they won'y (less likely). Ofcom and the BBFC are totaly different organisations and I think its very unlikely that the BBFC would back peddle now.

Well lets face it David, you really are getting money for old rope if as you state on a previous thread that you've only ever shot soft core. Didn't have you in mind when I made the comments as to be honest I'd never heard of you or your shows until a few weeks ago as I've never had a subscription to TVX or TAC. I've never seen the point in paying ?10 per month when I can get XXX for the same amount with a euro satellite receiver.

When TVX goes hardcore (as it surely will) will you continue to shoot only softcore or will you change to shooting hardcore)

Hi, By the way my postings on this site are not to discuss porn in general, they are to have comments on my shows from subscribers of TVX, So that I can perhaps add to my shows and improve the contents for the subscribers.

Softcore CAN be highly sexy when done with imagination, and there are some good progs which can arouse even the most cynical. Well, perhaps not all.

Some HC is actually very offputtting - eg a stunning babe is employed, she is made to do a short strip, and then the next shot is of her with a giant dick in her mouth.....................(Usually US films)

Having thought about it I agree that if done properly it can probably be more erotic. I mean how many times have we seen a soft core film and visualised what it would have been like had we seen a harder version. And how many times have we been in the same position with xxx movies with the build up only to have been disappointed with final result.

So there you go David, make the same quality of movie but in hardcore keeping the eroticsm and visualisation of softcore, easy to man of your ability. I personally always liked porn from the late 70s early 80s which displayed these qualities more so than the current crop of movies.

I was amazed recently when one of my esteemed colleagues said on the forum that he couldn't understand why some folks still preferred laidback erotic soft-core movies now that they could get their mitts on one of his 'get right down to it' heavy duty, bitch poking, asshole reaming, DPing, spunk splattering video extravaganzas.
