UK Sky digital is governed by UK law, and therefore is not allowed to show R18 style full on hardcore as far as I know.
Spice Platinum is only currently available from European provides as the laws over there are much more relaxed.
Just have to wait in hope I guess.
will spice platinum come on to sky digital?

So much for the EU. If the continent can provide it why not us?. We are for example obliged to use Metric weights to sell produce!!!!!!!!!. Or risk prosecution.

There is nothing written in the law which prevents R18 content from being broadcast, but the existing programme code forbids R18 content to be shown on any channel at any time.
This might seem to be splitting hairs but the key difference is that the law has to be changed by the Government, whilst the programme code can be changed by the new television regulator (Ofcom).
Ofcom will be holding a major review of broadcasting standards this summer and there is every likely hood that hardcore R18 content will finaly be permitted on UK subscription services. In fact reading last years Communications Act it is difficult to see how they could justify not doing so.
I will be encouraging people to take part in the coming public consultation over broadcasting standards. If you want to join in you can drop me a line:
