HIV testing

I've read with interest most of the debate about the 30 day testing and decided it was time to point out that first off I'm fully in favour of the 30 day std test, but until we can get a private clinic to do the dna testing (like in the USA) at an affordable rate, I feel the 30 day HIV test is not good enough.
Secondly, for all those who feel you can get 'free' testing done at NHS trust hospitals (although you normally have to wait a week) remember this:
You go to an NHS hospital, they need to know who your GP is. Once they've got this imformation you are truly fucked!
Why? Because if you ever at a later date decide to buy a house and get a morgage you won't be able to get one! Why? Because to get a morgage you need life insurance and if there is a record of you EVER having an HIV test (regardless of the result) you will be declined insurance cover. The insurance company will write to you GP and that is one of the questions that they will ask.
The answer? go private. I know it will cost between ?60 - 100 for an HIV test but if you ever want a morgage it's the only way.
I know this because I've just bought a house, but I was lucky because I'm always used the Regents Park Clinic and never bothered with the NHS hospitals.
And lastly, although this whole thing is a step in the right direction, I feel unless EVERY performer and EVERY producer in the business gets behind this it will be a wasted effort for those who do.
Performers need to stop fucking girls not in the business without condoms! (I know this goes on I've seen it!)
Performers need to stop doing escort work (condoms never break do they!)
Producers and agents need to either get tested the same as the performers or stop trying to fuck the new girls who don't know any better(you know who you are!)
And certain male performers need to stop doing gay escort work (even if you are using condoms!)
I know I'll probably get blasted for this post but those of you who know me know that I always speak my mind.
For my part, I'm going to personally get tested every 30 days, but I'm going to leave it up to the individual performers to do what they feel comfortable with.
