Just watched a news item featuring "Dr." Sharon Mitchell wearing a white lab. coat with Dr. Sharon Mitchell embroidered on it.

Trust me, I'm a doctor!
Re: Trust me, I'm a doctor!
Having done some research on the matter myself, I have to concede that Tomsk was indeed correct and she is not entitled to refer to herself as a Doctor.
I did make this concession in another thread, but it was deleted.
I don't think she is doing a bad job, and I think the porn industry in America is a lot better off with AIM than without it....however, if one of these so-called 'journalists' does a little digging, she could fast become the Achilles heel of the US industry.
Whilst I realise that she doesn't do the tests herself, and that AIM has qualified medical technicians, she is still leading people on and should be brought to task over it. Either she completes her Ph.D, or she stops referring to herself as doctor...otherwise she risks becoming both an embarrassment AND a liability.

I completely agree with you.
I also contributed to the deleted post- quite a long message, re: the validity of Mitchell's decisions without a completed PhD. I shall not be posting such a message again, as the moderators of this board do not appear to like anyone exposing the truth about Sharon Mitchell.

That thread was deleted because it descended into a slanging match. If all posts on this topic were as balanced as the one above by DanG, there would be no problem - apart perhaps from that of boring repetiton of the same arguments.
